Episode 2: Mandela Effect Thu, 20 Jul 2017 13:59:45 +0000

Carl attempts to convince Darren about the Mandela effect; a the pseudo-scientific belief that some differences between one’s memories and the real world are caused by changes to past events in the timeline. Many believers think it’s caused by travel between alternate universes.

The effect is named after one such mass memory event, when a certain portion of the population claim to vividly remember Nelson Mandela dying in prison in the 1980s.

Given the vast nature of suspected Mandela Effects (ME’s) and the fact we couldn’t cover them all, we’ve included a starting point “cheat sheet” below for you to begin your own investigations, after listening to the episode.
